The Annual Spring Conference 2025 will be held May 13-16, 2025 at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa, Rancho Mirage, California.
To receive a Conference Registration Cancellation refund for attendees and/or a Spouse/Significant Other, you must cancel the registration by close of business on April 1, 2025, via email to sacrs@sacrs.org.
Early-Bird registration price applies to Affiliate Members only. Early-Bird registration fee must be paid on or prior to April 1, 2025 to recieve the discounted price. Early-Bird registration fees will increase to the Regular price if payment is not recieved on or prior to April 1, 2025.
By registering to attend the SACRS Spring Conference 2025 in-person attendees agree to comply with the provisions of the Event Health Safety Code of Conduct. The participant’s acknowledgement, located at the end of the Code of Conduct, must be agreed to during the registration process. Documents can be found on the conference web page.

DISABILITY TRAINING | BEYOND THE APPLICATION: THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE OF DISABILITY RETIREMENT The path to disability retirement can feel like an overwhelming maze of paperwork, medical evaluations, board decisions, and complex calculations. For some members it’s an overwhelming experience. This session invites you to experience it through their eyes. Dr. Jack Rothberg, M.D., will share insights into the mental health challenges some applicants face. Nancy Schwartz, Quality/Medical Business Consultant and Trainer, will lead an interactive discussion highlighting barriers applicants encounter—whether physical, cognitive, or emotional. Attendees will gain practical tools to improve communication, remove accessibility obstacles, and foster empathy within your organization, ensuring applicants feel supported, respected, and understood as they navigate this complex process. |
