In addition to being responsible for the organization’s audits, the duties of the Audit Committee include assisting the Board of Directors in choosing an independent auditor, negotiating the auditor’s compensation, conferring with the auditor regarding SACRS’ financial affairs, and reviewing and accepting or rejecting the audit.
