Sacramento County Employees' Retirement System (SCERS) is a multiple-employer public employee retirement system, enacted and administered in accordance with the provisions of the County Employees Retirement Law of 1937 (CERL). Since its creation by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors in 1941, SCERS has provided retirement, disability, and survivors' benefits to eligible participants of the system.
