Our Board of Directors and Standing Committees are comprised of passionate volunteers committed to making retirement security a reality for California's hardworking county employees.
As a volunteer-driven association, the vitality and sustainability of our organization is dependent on those that generously donate their time and energy to our mission. We encourage members to get involved as an elected member of our Board of Directors or as a participant on one of our seven Standing Committees.
The State Association of County Retirement Systems (SACRS) Board of Directors provides critical oversight and strategic guidance of our Association. The Board consists of five elected members filling the roles of: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and the Immediate Past President. Board members are elected annually, but historically have assumed office for two years to provide leadership continuity.
Our Standing Committees consist of members interested in contributing to the success of specific aspects of our Association, from planning the next great conference event to actively engaging in legislative matters.
